Digitel TIM SIM Card For Venezuela

 A Digitel pre-paid international SIM card is a great way to save on cellular service while in Venezuela. This prepaid SIM gives you a local number and local rates so you will not have to worry about your service provider or phone rental company charging expensive roaming fees. When you use your mobile phone inVenezuela you'll save a significant amont of money. This Venezuela SIM Card allows you to control your spending, allowing you to enjoy your trip.

NOTE:Your Venezuela SIM Card will require a unlocked GSM phone with a frequency of 900. If you do not already own an unlocked GSM phone consider purchasing one along with your SIM Card.

  • Domestic rates:
    All Domestic rates are billed on a per minute basis. All incoming calls, regardless of where they orginiate are FREE when using your SIM Card for Venezuela.

    Service Life:
    Your Venezuela SIM card will need to be reloaded every three months to reamain active. If you are do not reload your SIM every 3 months your SIM will expire and you will lose any remaining airtime.

    SIM Card Activation:
    Upon arrival in Venezuela, detach the SIM card from its plastic package and insert it into your phone.  Follow the guidelines from your cell phone manual if you have trouble inserting your SIM.

    When You turn on your phone you will need two enter a PIN code. 

    The default PIN code for your Venezuela SIM card is 0000.

    Please dial 121, press send, and wait for confirmation.

    Your phone will ask for the PIN code whenever you turn on your phone. If you prefer you can change or turn off this requirement to enter the PIN code everytime the phone is turned on (check your cell phone manual for details). When a PIN code is entered incorrectly three consecutive times, the SIM card will be blocked. In order to unblock the SIM card, you will have to follow your phone owner's manual to use the PUK code to unblock your phone. For PUK code, you need to call 121 or  +584129 121 121 from a landline. The default PIN code for your SIM Venezuela SIM card is 0000.

    Your new phone number is found on the back of the SIM's card isntruction and appears as +58xxxxxxx.

    Calling your new number:
    Your friends and relatives can reach you by dialing: 011  and the rest of your telephone number without the first zero.

    Sending SMS (text message) to your new number:
    In order to send you a SMS(text message),friends and relatives should dial: +58 then your SIM phone number without the first zero.

    Recharging your SIM card account:
    Your SIM Card for Venezuela comes with approximately sixty five minutes of talk-time. When you need to add credits (minutes) to your account, you will need to purchase a "Reload Card"(scratch-card). You can find these scratch cards near the cash register in gas stations, newspaper stands or at any authorized tobacco shops.

    To recharge your account:
    dial: *127* then the reload card's number, followed by the # sign the press send.

    To check your account balance:
    dial *127*72536 then the # sign and press send
