Your Tphone Card is pre-activated and comes ready to use with your phone number printed on the materials included in the SIM package. 2. Insert the card into your unlocked cell phone as shown in your phone user manual. 3. Switch on the cell phone (set your phone to the correct frequency 900/1800 for Europe, 1900 for Mexico, Peru, and the USA) and when prompted, enter the PIN code* received with the SIM card. 4. Once the phone registers itself with an available network (this takes between 30 seconds and 2 minutes), your phone is ready for use. * In most cases, we will turn off the SIM PIN code requirement so that it will not have to be entered. Placing a call using the Tphone SIM card: For making a call with your Tphone SIM, you need to press the Plus (+) key, the country code, the number and then press "Send". The Plus (+) key automatically dials the international access code for the country you are in. The Zero (0) key is the Plus (+) key on some phones that do not have a Plus (+) key labeled. By holding down the Zero (0) key for a few seconds, a (+) will appear on your screen. Instead of putting the phone to your ear immediately, wait about two seconds and the phone will ring back, alerting you to answer the phone. Press the Send or Yes key and you will hear your call go through. Just dial: + , country code, city code, the phone number (country code is 1 for USA) and the Send key to reach any number. In these few seconds, the SIM calls you back and you are in control of the calling rate per minute to save.
