Thuraya Data Cable The Thuraya Data Cable incorporates a serial link cable and connector for attaching Thuraya Hand-Held terminals to a V.24/V.28 port on a personal computer, laptop or any Data Terminal Equipments (DTE). It is connected from the HHT Universal Docking Connector (UDC) part (14 pins). It can be used to send/receive data and fax at the rates of 2.4, 4.8 & 9.6 kbps. In addition, it can be used to transport GPS information acquired by Thuraya HHT into a PC running a software-mapping package for navigation and location tracking purposes. Furthermore, it can be used in conjunction with other Thuraya accessories.
