If you do not recharge your account within 9-Months, your Spain SIM card and phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. Every time you subsequently add airtime the validity of your SIM card will be extended for 12-months. The Amena SIM card will include 15 Euro. Additional credit is available through the purchase of airtime vouchers, also called reload codes (not another Amena SIM card), in Spain. Airtime vouchers are available in 10 denominational increments up to a maximum of 50.
Once you purchase a voucher simply scratch off the grey protective layer to reveal your voucher code. When punched into the keypad of your international cell phone the voucher code will credit your SIM card the respective Euro denomination you purchased.
Alternatively you may enter *122* voucher-code# and the respective credit will be applied.
Airtime vouchers are available locally, in Spain, at convenience stores, petrol stations, Amena shops and authorized dealers.
