| The airtime on your SIM Card for Ghana lasts for nine months from the last recharge or initial activation. If airtime credit is not added during the 9th month any credit on the SIM will expire. If the SIM is not reloaded after 12 months, the SIM card will be de-activated and the number will be recycled. To avoid this, and have the SIM card ready for your next trip, simply purchase a small reload or pass the SIM card on to a friend. | Your SIM Card for Ghana offers excellent coverage of the entire country of Ghana and will have a specific pre-assigned cell phone number and will be ready to use straight out of the package, no activation is necessary. Simply insert the SIM card into your unlocked GSM cell phone, dial your first call by dialing + symbol, country code, area or city code, and number and press the "Send" or "Yes" key, and your SIM card is ready to use. Your cell phone number will start with the country code "32". Callers from the US can dial "011 423" followed by your cell phone number to reach you in over 100 countries around the world.
The SIM Card for Ghana comes with about 15 minutes of outgoing airtime, and offers incoming calls at 29 Eurocents.

| | Making calls using your SIM card To make a call, simply dial 00, the country code, the phone number, and the "Send" or "Yes" key.
Instead of putting the phone to your ear immediately, wait about two seconds and the phone will ring back, alerting you to answer the phone. Press the "Send" or "Yes" key and you will hear your call go through.
Just dial 00, the country code, the city or area code, and then the phone number (country code is "1" for the US), and press the "Send" or "Yes" key to dial any number.
