To use this service, you will need an unlocked GSM cell phone with the correct band.  If you purchased your GSM cell phone from a carrier it may be SIM-locked which means only SIM cards from that specific carrier can be used in your phone. When you purchase our SIM card you will also have the option to purchase a Siemens Tri-Band World Phone for only $99, a special promotional rate only available to customers who purchase this SIM card.  If you are unsure if your current phone will work with this SIM card, please either call us at 1-800-872-7626 (or from overseas at 1-703-620-0879) or consider purchasing the Siemens Tri-Band World Phone to use with our SIM card.     Rates     This SIM Card for Egypt debits at only€0.39 a minute for outgoing calls locally within Egypt and€0.39 a minute for calls back to the US.  With this SIM Card for the country of Egypt, all incoming calls are free.  The Country Specific SIM Card for Egypt normally costs $59.99 but is available now at a discount.  Unlike many country specific SIM cards, this SIM card only needs to be reloaded once every 9 months to remain active.  When it is time to reload you can simply call us and we will add the reload directly to your account.  To purchase reloads to extend your SIM card every nine months, please call our reload center at 1-703-620-0879 (or from your mobile at +1-703-620-0879) or at 1-800-872-7626 from within the US.     Service Life     Your airtime can be used for 9 months from your last recharge or initial activation.  If airtime credit is not added during the 12th month, the SIM card will be de-activated and the phone number will be recycled.  To avoid this, and have the SIM card ready for your next trip, simply purchase a small reload or pass the SIM card on to a friend.     International Capability     The SIM Card for Egypt presented here is actually an international roaming SIM card.  This means it can be used to make and receive calls in over 140 countries, including the US and Canada.  You will experience excellent coverage and be able to make inexpensive calls back to the US. Instead of putting the phone to your ear immediately, wait about two seconds and the phone will ring back, alerting you to answer the phone.  Press the "Send" or "Yes" key and you will hear your call go through. Just dial a Plus (+) symbol, the country code, the city code, and then the phone number (country code is "1" for the US) and the "Send" or "Yes" key to reach any number. In these few seconds, the SIM card calls you back.  This allows you to control the calling rate per minute and save.
