The SIM card will arrive fully activated and ready to use.  You will receive a welcome kit, with your phone number, that will provide detailed instructions about how to use your new service. Follow the included instructions to activate your SIM card Put the SIM Card into the BlackBerry Curve Be sure that the battery is charged and turn on your phone Enter the PIN (if prompted) which is located on the same sticker as your phone number Start calling** Simply specify during the checkout process when you will need the BlackBerry Data service to be activated for your next trip.  You will be contacted after you place your order to find out exactly when you need data services to be active if you do not specify when you will be traveling during the checkout process. *Your SIM card comes attached to the back page of your information booklet.  You will need to remove it from the booklet then insert the SIM card into your international BlackBerry with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone. **When calling overseas from the United States to your European Data Roaming SIM Card cellular phone number, callers will need to dial "011" followed by the country code "33" and then your European Data Roaming SIM Card phone number, omitting the first "0' (zero).  To call abroad from your cell phone simply dial "00" followed by the country code and phone number. If you have trouble establishing a data connection you can simply enter websfr (lower case) in the APN field of your connection settings.  GPRS Data rates for web browsing and emailing are as follows: Within France:    $5.00 per MB (billing increment 10 kb = $0.005) Within Europe:  $15.00 per MB (billing increment 10 kb = $0.015) BlackBerry Data The main advantage of this package is that you can keep receiving your emails while saving a bundle on all of your data and calling charges!  Until now, when you traveled abroad, you had to activate an international data plan with your current carrier.  Some providers even locked you up in a yearly subscription...but you still had to pay high roaming calling charges. For Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) or Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) users, we propose a flexible option that allows you to activate this service for the duration of your trip.  Then you will pay simply for your usage. How does it work?  Contact us to activate this option on your line and walk you through the activation process.  You will then be able to send and receive your emails. It is that simple.  Or, if you already have an existing line with us, simply contact us before your departure to activate this option. The option is only $0.50 per day.  Tell us if you are a BlackBerry Internet Service user or if you are a BlackBerry Enterprise Server user.  Then you just pay your usage as follows: Within France:    Unlimited Emails - $5.00 per MB for web browsing (billing increment 10 kb = $0.05) Within Europe:  $15.00 per MB for emailing and web web browsing (billing increment 10 kb = $0.15) Rest of the World:  $0.090 per kb for emailing and web browsing (billing increment 10 kb) Add and remove this option to your line without limit to suit your travel needs.  Allow up to 72 hours to activate or deactivate this option. Frequently Asked Questions How do you invoice the service? Whenever you use your phone, we bill your credit card once a month any airtime usage and data transport charges incurred from the previous month. Any additional usage charges will be billed on subsequent invoices. Do I have to pay something when I don’t travel? No, there is absolutely no monthly or any other fee. Keep the SIM card until your next trip to Europe, and you only pay for your usage and the 50¢ daily fee when you are using the BlackBerry email feature. How do you invoice the Blackberry option? The Blackberry option is charged on a daily basis and the total will appear on your monthly statement. This option can be activated and suspended without any limit while you maintain an active line.
